HELPING HANDS MINISTRY
In 2022, Reach member Glen Harshbarger approached Pastor Tim Craft with a vision to create a ministry where members of The Reach United would use their individual God-Given skills and talents to team with other churches and organizations in our community to assist in the repairing of homes.
The result was the creation of the HELPING HANDS ministry.
The mission of Helping Hands is to revitalize our community by mobilizing The Reach United Church to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ.
Vision Statement
To help widows, the elderly, single parents, and disabled with home repairs that are unaffordable to them. Working with our hands to show the people in our community how to love and help one another and to show the love of Jesus and spread the Gospel.
To teach volunteers a trade in the construction industry to help better themselves and their lives.
